Shereka Johnson-Bean
Born in Jamaica, Shereka is a purpose-driven leader passionate about helping children and youth dream boldly and plan intentionally. A Business Analyst by profession and community advocate by heart, she serves as Vice Chair of a local high school’s School Improvement Council and as a proud Kiwanis member.
Whitney Collins
As the Assistant Director, Ms. Collins works closely with the Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure Beyond a Dream’s mission and values remain central to all decisions. The Assistant Director fosters collaboration among board members, represents the organization in key partnerships, and supports long-term planning to strengthen programs and community reach.
Russhea Fearon
As the Treasurer, Ms. Fearon oversees the organization’s financial health through responsible budgeting, reporting, and fiscal management. The Treasurer ensures that donor contributions are used effectively, aligning all expenditures with the organization’s mission and legal requirements.
Marketing & Communications Specialist
As the Marketing & Communications Specialist, they lead the storytelling and brand strategy that connect Beyond a Dream’s mission with its audience. This member develops outreach campaigns, manages digital presence, and amplifies the voices and achievements of youth through strategic communication initiatives.
Dr. Nicole Williams McKenzie
As the Education & Youth Development Expert, Dr. Williams-McKenzie provides insight and guidance on curriculum design, mentorship strategies, and youth engagement practices. This member ensures that Beyond a Dream’s programs are impactful, age-appropriate, and aligned with current best practices in education and youth development.
Ruth Etienne
As the Legal & Compliance Advisor, Ms. Etienne ensures the organization operates within legal and ethical frameworks, advising on contracts, nonprofit compliance, and policy development. This member helps safeguard Beyond a Dream’s 501(c)(3) status and organizational integrity.
Krystal Lambert
As the Local Community Liaison, Ms. Lambert acts as the bridge between Beyond a Dream and the communities it serves. This member strengthens grassroots connections, provides cultural and contextual insight, and helps identify emerging needs and partnership opportunities.
